Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment is an autonomous organisation financed and controlled by “Government of Kerala. It has two governing bodies viz. General Body consist of 31 members of which Hon’ble Minister for Labour is the President (for details please see annexure III). (2) Executive Council consisting of 11 members (for details please see annexure III). The Executive director is the executive head of the Institute. He exercises his powers under the guidance of the Executive council. He is also the member secretary of the Executive Council.
