The academic wing performs the core functions of the Institute. A well-established research wing undertakes short term and long term projects in Labour and allied subjects to find out viable solutions for the selected research subjects. A core committee comprising of technical experts intervenes in each stage of research with proper guidance and evaluation. A well-equipped library is available with more than 2500 books dealing with disciplines of labour and Employment and related subjects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

KILE IAS academy is another innovative initiative of the institute established with the intention of creating professional dynamic and efficient civil service officers from among the dependents of the labourers in Kerala. The dependents of the working class in organized and unorganized sectors of Kerala are eligible for admission to the academy with a concessional fee. The first preference is for the beneficiaries of labourers and rest of the seats are open for the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
