Research and Analysis

Research being the core activity of the institute undertakes short term and long term projects to find out viable solutions for the selected research subjects. The subject of research comprises a broad spectrum of labour-related issues and problems, in both organized and   unorganized sectors. An internal core committee consists of technical experts intervene in each stage of research and proper guidance and evaluation will be done for each topics. While deciding the topics of research, care is taken to identify subjects and issues of topical concern and relevance to policy formulation.

Research activities also explore the basic needs of different groups of stake holders such as Labourers, Worker’s organizations (Trade union leaders), Labour Administrators, Employers and Government officials and volunteers of non – governmental organizations.
